In this training, you'll explore a unique method of deep tissue bodywork focused on the spine and its relationship to the entire body.

Upon completion, you'll have a practical toolkit of effective techniques for addressing tension and pain in the back, neck, shoulders, and pelvis, allowing you to deliver a fully integrated MER session.
This training offers a comprehensive understanding of how fascial patterns influence posture, movement, breathing, and chronic pain. You'll explore the relationship between fascia, the nervous system, and emotional holding patterns, gaining practical tools to support lasting change in your clients.
Throughout the module, you'll learn how breath regulation can support release and integration, why the pelvis plays a central role in balance and stability, and how Myofascial Unwinding can facilitate spontaneous movement and deeper self-regulation. The training also develops essential assessment skills, including body reading, palpation, client feedback, resonance, and intuitive perception.
Special attention is given to refining the quality of touch. You'll learn how to apply deep pressure with precision and sensitivity while maintaining sustainable body mechanics. Through the development of "Listening Touch," you'll gain the ability to follow the body's responses rather than impose change, creating the conditions for deeper release and integration.
The training combines theory, demonstrations, daily meditation, practical exercises, and supervised bodywork exchanges. Together, these elements create an experiential learning environment where understanding emerges through both study and direct practice.
A major focus of the module is working with key structural and energetic transition points in the body, including the lumbosacral junction, diaphragm, heart center, thoracic inlet, atlas-occiput relationship, and pelvis. These areas often influence breathing, posture, mobility, and the body's capacity for regulation.
You'll deepen your understanding of the structural and functional anatomy of the back, neck, and pelvis while learning to recognize the underlying patterns that contribute to pain and restriction. The training emphasizes helping clients reconnect with their own resources and develop greater awareness of their body's signals.
You'll also learn practical breath-based techniques that support release, improve breathing patterns, and enhance the effectiveness of bodywork sessions.
Mastering Deep Bodywork Skills
The module introduces eight highly effective deep bodywork contact points developed by Satyarthi Peloquin. These techniques provide a structured framework for working with chronic holding patterns while maintaining sensitivity to the nervous system.
Alongside these techniques, you'll study the 8-Point Teaching for Deep Touch, a practical approach that helps practitioners perceive and work with the interconnected physical, emotional, and energetic dimensions of the human experience.
